Emergency Dentist London

Dental Injuries

Dental injuries come in all forms and sizes, from minute cavities to broken and lost teeth due to impacts and accidents. At our London Emergency Dental practice we can provide quick pain-relieving emergency dental treatment to get you out of pain in just one hour.

Broken and loose teeth due to impact

Remember, if the person was or is unconscious at all, you must get medical attention immediately. Call 999 or take the patient to accident and emergencies.

Re-implanting teeth

Only teeth that have been knocked out whole, with the root still intact, can be re-implanted. We can only re-implant second teeth or adult teeth that are whole, with their root intact and undamaged.

To achieve a successful re-implantation we recommend you do the following prior to seeing our London Emergency Dentists:

  • Store the tooth in milk or tucked in the person's cheek.
  • DO NOT scrub or touch the root (even if dirty) and hold it by the crown part. Rinse it under water to remove dirt and/or just place it in milk.
  • Ideally you should come to see us within 30 minutes to maximise your chances for a successful re-implantation.
